We’ll be playing in the commons area at 8pm. A bunch of old favorites, some brand spanking new things, and a special featured guest artist, John Oliver-North. John will be joining us to sing [and help us sing] songs from the sacred Yoruba traditions of Africa and Cuba.
We’re auditioning for Choro members now. Talent would be a big plus, if your thinking of contacting us. On second thought, never mind. If we haven’t called you yet, your not on the gig. Hope to see you there. Henry

Henry spent a good deal of time in the pit of the Union Avenue Opera in St. Louis this summer. Here are some photos of him and his Porgy and Bess rig. He combined and played all of the parts. Note the foot operated sandpaper block. It rubs against a piece of sandpaper taped to a cajon for some sandy resonance!

Please come see us perform at the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival in Forest Park. We will be performing for the Green Show, from 6:30 to 8 pm, preceding the mainstage performance on Thursday, June 2, Sunday, June 5, and Thursday, June 16. The Shakespeare Festival is free and open to the public!
